James Moxon – Choreographer
James has been dancing since she was knee high to a set of ballet shoes! She has choreographed for individual performers, duets, large and small groups, consisting of participants from a wide range of ages. James has been around drama, dance, movies and theatre from a very young age and has developed excellent dramatic instincts, which she will combine with her ongoing experience in dance. She has completed three years at York University where she studied Drama and English. Prior to that she studied dance for 11 years in Cambridge and Waterloo. Because she is an accomplished singer as well, James has a unique understanding of how voice and dance can work together with little or no stress on the performers. At York University, she also made a particular study of the body as a functioning instrument. James creates choreography from that perspective; thereby ensuring that due focus is on the health body and voice of the performers.
